It doesn't matter what sport you're playing, everyone is welcome to register for our events.

ABOUT THE SPORT
Wish YOU were a baller? Are you the next MJ or Steve Nash? Think you could take Swin Cash one-on-one? Or maybe you just want more of a game than pick-up or 'HORSE' at the local courts... The CSSC basketball leagues are self-officiated and co-ed. Players of all skill levels welcome and granny shots are allowed!!!

WHO CAN PLAY?
Adults aged 18 and older may join our co-ed leagues. Our leagues offer divisions for beginners and skilled veterans. We welcome full teams, small groups (5 or more players but not a full team), friends (2-4 players) and individual registrations. Small group, friends and individual registrations are combined with other similiar registrants to form a team that remains together for the duration of the season. Click here for more info.

CSSC LEAGUE DETAILS

Start Date	Spring indoor leagues begin the week of April 13, 2008
Players	5 on the floor, minimum 2 women. We recommend teams of 9 - 11.
Cost	- $450/team - $75/individual or friends (1-4 players) - $60/person for small group (5-8 people)
Locations	We rent school gyms and private facilities that are located throughout the city of Calgary.
Game Times	Game start times will range from 6:15pm-10:00pm.
Equipment	CSSC provides Wilson game balls, which are stored in the gym. Players must bring both a light and dark shirt to each game. All players must wear clean, non-marking idoor shoes.
Games Coordinators	CSSC games coordinators will monitor most of the basketball games. See rules for more details on the CSSC policies on self-officiating.

SPRING 2008 LEAGUE NIGHTS AND SKILL LEVELS

NIGHT	LEVEL	DESCRIPTION
WEDNESDAY	Recreational	Never played? Just started playing? Teams who register for this level should, as a whole, be inexperienced. If you are a skilled player or have skilled players on your team do not register for Rec.
WEDNESDAY	Rec Plus	Played at the rec level for a 2 seasons or more and finished in the top half of the standings- PLAY HERE. A team who had an even mix of beginner, novice and experienced players would play here
WEDNESDAY	Intermediate	You would say 95% of your teammates played on their high school team or beyond. Or your team may not have the 'paper' credentials - you just know the team is good!

Please Note: The CSSC may be required to combine different skill levels into one division (i.e. Wed Rec Plus/Int Combined) based on total # of registrations and/or # of teams registered per skill level (i.e. not enough Int teams to have own division).

HOW DO I REGISTER? ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DONE ONLINE SO THAT FORMS CAN BE PROCESSED IN THE ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

WAIVER EACH PLAYER MUST SUBMIT A WAIVER FOR EACH SPORT THEY PLAY IN 2008. The waivers must be submitted BEFORE playing in a CSSC league.
