WHO
CAN PLAY?

All players must be 18 years of age or older. |
WAIVERS:
|
All players, including subs, must complete an online
waiver prior to playing in any league or event. |
OFFICIATING:
|
All Players are expected to call their own fouls. Please see the rules section for more details on the CSSC policies on self-officiating. |
HOW
TO REGISTER:
|
All registrations can be done online. If you
are unable to pay with credit card online, you can come down to the office to pay with cash or debit. |
CANCELLATIONS:
|
Cancellations must be submitted 2 business days prior to the registration
deadline in order to receive a full refund. After this time, no player
or team will be eligible for a full or partial refund or credit. |
DEFAULTS:
|
All players should understand the default
policy. |
SCHEDULES:
|
Schedules are posted a minimum of 2 business days before the first
game. |
GAME
TIMES:
|
Weekday games may start anywhere from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.
Weekend games may start anywhere from 9:00am to 10:00pm.
Sunday Morning league games may start anywhere from 9:00am to 11:00am.

| ROSTERS: |
For Regular & CNSF (4 on 4) leagues a full line-up consists of 4 players, plus a goalie (5 in total) on the court, with a minimum of 2 females.
For Regular (3 on 3) leagues a full line-up consists of 3 players, plus a goalie (4 in total) on the court, with a minimum of 1 female.
For Rink (5 on 5) a full line- up consists of 5 players, plus a goalie (6 in total), with a minimum of 2 females.
A female goalie does not count toward your 1 or 2 on the court. |
EQUIPMENT:

SSC Floor Hockey legal player sticks: only DOM ‘Elite’ or DOM ‘Street Thunder’ sticks are allowed.
SSC Floor Hockey legal goalie sticks: Shaft can be made of any material; however the blade MUST be plastic.
Rink League only: Composite and wooden sticks are allowed.

Player sticks, a goalie stick, a goalie mask and game balls. Teams must provide the remaining goalie equipment (blocker, glove, leg pads, etc). The CSSC may store a blocker, glove, and leg pads at the facility but does not guarantee there availability. |

Clean non-marking indoor shoes, both a light and dark shirt and a stick (if you do not bring your own, there will be sticks at the facility). |

SCORES:
|
CSSC Games Coordinators are responsible for monitoring all Floor Hockey games, and managing the sportsmanship of each team. The Games Coordinators are also responsible for keeping time, reporting and keeping the score, equipment management, and awarding sportsmanship points for each team. The Games Coordinator is not a referee, but is present to ensure a fun and safe environment for all players. |

Gyms are rented from the City of Calgary. Teams can expect to play at a combination of gyms in all quadrants and will typically play at a few different gyms throughout the season.
