REGISTRATION
DEADLINE NOW IN EFFECT
|
Please take note of the INDOOR
registration deadline of Tuesday, April 13th, 2010. Prior to this
deadline, all registrants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis;
the closer to February 17th that you get your registration in, the
better your chances are of making it into the league of your choice. After
April 13th, if we require registrants, we will advertise any spots
that are available. |
General Description |
Get active this season and play Indoor
Soccer with the CSSC. It’s a great way to get fit, work on your eye-foot
coordination and to have fun with your team. It’s a 5 on 5 game (including
the goalies), with a minimum of two females on the floor at all times. We use
custom indoor soccer nets, the walls are live, and the games are a fast-paced
50 minutes of action (plus warm-up and half-time). We offer Recreational, and
Recreational Plus divisions. We also offer a Recreational Plus Turf Soccer division that takes place at the NSD centre, for the Fall and Winter seasons and at
the Calgary Northeast Facility during the Spring season. All games have a
Coordinator present but you are expected to call your own fouls and be
responsible for your own play. We encourage you to play with a ‘fun-first’
attitude at our various medium and large sized gyms rented from the Calgary
Board of Education and private facilities throughout the city. After your
game, meet-up with your teammates and other CSSC players while enjoying
exclusive specials at one of our many Sponsor Bars around Calgary.
|
Who Can Play? |
Adults aged 18 and older can
join any of our Indoor Soccer Leagues. We welcome full teams, small groups (5
or more players but not a full team), friends (2-4 players) and individual
registrations. Small groups, friends and individual registrations are
combined with other similar registrants to form a team that remains together
for the duration of the season. |
