General Overview: This is an exciting full-time career opportunity. The CSSC is Calgary’s largest provider of adult recreational sports leagues, tournaments and events. The Leagues Coordinator is a newly developed position that will have a significant impact on the success of our programs. This position will be challenging but very rewarding; only highly organized and reliable people should apply.

Start date: September 2010

Completion date: Permanent Position

Hours: Full-time hours Monday – Friday. Some weeknight or weekend work will be required.

Rate of pay: $40,000 inclusive of Salary, Bonus and Benefits

* Semi-annual performance evaluations facilitate growth in responsibilities and compensation

Responsibilities:

- Hire, train and manage Event Coordinators
- Role model excellent customer service
- Assist Manager of League Operations with special projects
- Act as a liaison between Administration team and Management
- Problem-solve day-to-day league related issues
- Manage processing and tracking of Club revenues
- Chair/participate in committees that support continued Club growth
- Manage scheduling process
- Perform administrative duties
- Update website and manage software
- Plan and execute weekly, monthly and annual goals


Experience:

- University or College degree
- High level of computer competence
