Positions Available for Summer 2008:
Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee
General Overview:
Flag Football, Ultimate: These EC's help coordinate
the league night that they are playing in by bringing the EC gear
(balls, flags, discs, field markers, etc) each week, setting up
the fields (2 fields side by side), updating players with pre-game
announcements, and reporting game scores to the CSSC the following
day. You are an EC for the field at which you are playing, on the
night that you play, at the time that you play. Each EC is responsible
for 2-4 teams at their location.
Start dates:
Winter Season starts mid-January: Indoor Volleyball
Spring Season starts mid-April: Flag Football, Ultimate, Indoor
Volleyball
Summer Season starts mid-July: Flag Football, Ultimate
Fall Season starts mid-September: Indoor Volleyball, Flag Football
There will be an EC meeting the week before the league start-up
so that we can go over details and hand out the equipment that you
will need for the season.
Completion date:
When your league ends (usually 9-10 weeks per season)
Hours:
You coordinate the location you play at each
week at the time that you are scheduled to play. This involves
arriving at your facility 15 minutes early to coordinate
the set-up of fields/courts, doing pre-game announcements for the
players and remaining at the location until games are complete and
scores have been reported/equipment collected.
Rate of pay:
EC's are not paid by the hour. See the benefits below.

- A $75 refund at the end of the season
- Free or discounted tournaments and events during the season that
you are an EC

play

Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-season EC meeting (2 hours). Date and location are
TBA.
- Arrive at games 15 minutes early - set-up courts/fields, organize
the players
- Bring the schedule/scoresheet/rules/equipment
to the games each week
- Update players at your gym of upcoming CSSC events and/or league
information
- Record scores and report online to the CSSC the following day
- Play in your league with honour and good sportsmanship
