Game Format
- All Beach Volleyball Leagues are double opponent; teams will play two matches per night against different opponents.
- All Beach Volleyball Leagues use an On-site Coordinator.
- All Beach Volleyball Leagues are self-officiated.
- All court bookings are 2.0 hours in length.
- Each match is a best of 3 games format.
- The first two games are rally-point scoring to 25 points, the first team to 25 wins.
- The third game is rally-point scoring to 15 points, the first team to 15 wins.
- Ties are allowed in the regular season.
Season Length
- All 8 Week Beach Volleyball Leagues use the following structure:
- 7 weeks of regular season games (14 matches)*
- 1 weeks of playoff games (2 matches)
- All 5 Week Beach Volleyball Leagues use the following structure:
- 4 weeks of regular season games (8 matches)*
- 1 week of playoff games (2 matches)
- In cases where rain-outs occur, games are made up via two, 3-match weeks or season extensions (1-2 weeks)
- In rare cases, games may be played on Long Weekends or Holidays
* Sunday & 5-week Leagues Only: Teams will have two 'three-match' weeks built into the schedule during the regular season. The regular season will be played over one less week.
Playoffs
- Playoff Format: Spring / Summer (8 Week)
- All teams are guaranteed 2 playoff matches.
- Only the Top 4 teams will compete for the League Championship.
- Playoff Format: Spring / Summer (16 Week)
- All teams are guaranteed 3 playoff matches.
- The Top 8 teams will compete for the League Championship.
- Playoff Format: Fall (5 Week)
- All teams are guaranteed 2 playoff matches.
- Only the Top 4 teams will compete for the League Championship.
- League champs will receive t-shirts that can be picked up from the Season-end Party.
- There are no ties in playoffs.
- A minimum of 5 total points must be played in any game for it to count.
- If time is called, the team who has won the most games wins the match.
- If both teams have won the same number of games:
- The team with the higher point differential wins the match.
- If teams are tied in point-differential, one additional tie-breaker point must be played.

- When registering a full team, there is no limit to the maximum number of players that can be on the roster.
- Prior to the first game of the season, teams must have the total number of players required on the court (in the above chart) confirmed on the roster in MyCSSC.
- If the minimum amount of confirmed roster players is not met, the team will receive a loss for every game played until the requirement is met.
- Minimum female requirements are inclusive of anyone who identifies as female (i.e. players who identify as M or X do not count towards F minimums).
- Prior to the first playoff game, teams must have all players who are playing in the playoff game(s) displayed as part of the confirmed roster in MyCSSC.
- If this requirement is not met, teams will receive an automatic loss and will not be eligible for the championship.
