WHO
CAN PLAY?
|
All players must be 18 years of age or older. |
WAIVERS:
|
All players, including subs, must complete an online
waiver prior to playing in any league or event. |
OFFICIATING:
|
All players in CSSC Outdoor Soccer leagues are responsible for keeping score, calling their own fouls and managing the game. |
HOW
TO REGISTER:
|
All registrations can be done online. If you
are unable to pay with credit card online, you can come down to the office to pay with cash or debit. |
CANCELLATIONS:
|
Cancellations must be submitted 2 business days prior to the registration
deadline in order to receive a full refund. After this time, no player
or team will be eligible for a full or partial refund or credit. |
WEATHER
POLICY:
|
For outdoor sports, all players should be familiar
with the weather
policy. |
DEFAULTS:
|
All players should understand the default
policy. |
SCHEDULES:
|
Schedules are posted a minimum of 2 business days before the first
game. |
GAME
TIMES:
|
Sunday Afternoon |
Games will begin between 2:00pm and 4:00pm |
Sunday Evenings / Weekdays |
Games will begin between 6:15pm and 8:15pm

ROSTERS:
|
5 players, plus a goalie (6 total players), with at least two females on the field at all times. A female goalie does not count toward your two on the field. |

EQUIPMENT:
|
CSSC provides field markers and a Wilson game ball to each captain/team before the start of the season. Teams provide a $30 deposit at equipment pick ups. The times and dates of equipment pickups will be posted on the main page of the CSSC website. Deposits will be refunded if the equipment is returned within 10 days of final game.

Players must bring a light and dark shirt to each game as well as their footwear of choice. Metal cleats are not allowed in any CSSC league. Players are also responsible for purchasing optional equipment such as shin guards and goalie gloves

All new teams and individuals must attend a Players

The fields are rented from Calgary Parks and Recreation, and are located throughout the City of Calgary, in all quadrants. Soccer fields are smaller than regulation size to accommodate 5 on 5 play (plus a goalie).

SEASON LENGTH:

There will be 8 weeks of games throughout the season (including playoffs). There may be instances where byes are scheduled due to facility availability, meaning that 8 games may be played over 9 - 11 weeks. |
16 Weeks *NEW* |
There will be 16 weeks of games throughout the season (including playoffs). There may be instances where byes are scheduled due to facility availability, meaning that 16 games may be played over 17 - 20 weeks.
