Winter is Coming! Are You Ready? |
In preparation for the Winter Season, there are just 2 things you should do:
1.) Grow a moustache: This is to help raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer. Similarly to the CSSC, you may register as a team or as an individual. Can’t grow facial hair? There are still ways you can help! Visit Movember.com. The CSSC Staff is getting involved! Click Here to donate to our team and support our 'growth'.
2.) Sign-up for the CSSC’s upcoming Winter Season: Registration opened today! The upcoming season will begin the week of January 17th.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE NOW IN EFFECT: Please take note of the registration deadline of Tuesday, January 12th, 2010. Prior to this deadline, all registrants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; the closer to November 10th that you get your registration in, the better your chances are of making it into the league of your choice. After January 12th, if we require registrants, we will advertise any spots that are available.

Grow a Moustache and Excel at Sports

How will a moustache help you in any of our many CSSC sports leagues?
- It will help keep you warm when walking to and from your gym
- Intimidation factor (as demonstrated by the photo collage left)
- Wind resistance
- It will help you win the Standley Cup as it helped Lanny in '89
- If you suck or nobody is paying any attention to you, being really outrageous will help you achieve notoriety, playing time and the possibility of earning extra Spirit Points. Not to mention the ladies!

Can't Grow a Moustache? There's Still Hope... |
For those of you that cannot grow a moustache, here are some options:
- Milk Moustache: Looks best on people that have salt/pepper to gray hair. Temporary use only.
- Fingerstache: A stylized moustache is drawn (or tattooed) on the index finger. The finger is then placed between the nose and the lips, making it appear that the wearer has a moustache.
