Don't Leave Things to the Last Second |
Leaving things until the last second usually doesn’t yield the greatest results. We see this here at the CSSC all the time; it’s 5 hours before our Registration Deadline and sports are sold out, particular divisions are at their capacity, Singles Team rosters are full, etc. The following walk down memory lane is dedicated to those who leave things until the last second.
Super Bowl XXXIV - St. Louis Rams 23; Tennessee Titans 16. The Titans overcome a 16-point deficit by tying the game on a 43-yard field goal with just over 2 minutes to play.
But, then Kurt Warner connected with Isaac Bruce on a 78-yard touchdown pass to give the Rams the lead with just 1:54 remaining. However, then the Titans drove to the Rams 10 with six seconds and no timeouts, and then Steve McNair hit Kevin Dyson who stretched to the half-yard line as time ran out!

Although the NFL pre-season is still more entertaining than a Stamps game, it’s still just pre-season. The games are meaningless and give no indication of how the season will play out. So, in an attempt to “get pumped”, we suggest watching the top five football movies of all time.

Registration is now open for the first ever Fall "Pre-season Dodgeball Tournament" on Saturday, September 25!
Whether you are new to Dodgeball, want to work out the cobwebs or fancy dressing up in funky costumes, this is the tourney for you. Sign-up as an individual, with a few friends or as a team.
