Theme: Netflix & Chill! Come dressed to impress in your Netflix-inspired costumes. Whether you arrive as Regina George, Pornstache, Clay, Zoya, BoJack, or a demogorgon, we're excited to chill with you at this legendary event!
Why You Should Play: Even if you've never curled before, you'll feel right at home! There will even be a Curling Clinic to start the day where new players can learn the rules and skills. On top of playing a really fun sport at a premium Curling facility, you'll also find a full bar and restaurant available! The CSSC will be hosting various games/competitions throughout the day that relate to the tournament theme. There will also be an Xbox set-up with your favourite games. Doubles Board: There will also be a 'Doubles Board', which will allow one person each round to win a free drink. In order to win, you need to knock at least two of your opponents rocks out of the house in one shot - but if another person makes a double takeout before the end of the third end, they can steal the board away from you.
Facility: Inglewood Golf and Curling Club - 19 Gosling Way SE
Divisions: Recreational (no experience is necessary), Recreational Plus
Times: Official times will be sent to teams no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, October 17, but all players should expect to start as early as 10:00am for announcements and a Curling Clinic (which will be especially helpful for Curling-newbies), and end as late as 7:00pm. The tournament schedule will be posted at the facility the day of the event.
Format/Roster: All teams are scheduled 4 (3-end) matches. There will be a round robin and playoffs. Teams consist of 4 players only, with no co-ed restrictions. All participants must be 18+ years old.
After-Party: Immediately after the tournament, stay in the lounge and enjoy exclusive CSSC food and drink specials. There will be champ/costume awards, games, door prizes, and more!
