CSSC ULTIMATE INFORMATION
|
New for 2010
|
Please take note of the winter
registration deadline of Tuesday, January 12th, 2010. Prior to this deadline,
all registrants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; the closer
to November 10th that you get your registration in, the better your chances are
of making it into the league of your choice. After January 12th, if we
require registrants, we will advertise any spots that are available.

General Description
|
Ultimate
is an exciting, fast moving game, which combines the best aspects of
football, soccer and basketball. It is a non-contact competitive team sport
that is distinguished by its spirit of the game (the principles of
fair play, sportsmanship, and the joy of play). It is easy to learn, fun to
play and a great way to get fit! It's a 5 on 5 game, with a minimum of two
females on the field at all times. Games are located throughout the city and
are played on private rugby fields or City of
Calgary
large soccer fields. Four teams
play at each field per night (2 matches each). All games have an Event
Coordinator present to help facilitate games, but all players are expected to
call their own fouls and manage the game. After your game,
enjoy CSSC specials at one of our many Sponsor Bars around Calgary.
|
Who Can Play?
|
Adults aged 18 and older can
join the Ultimate Frisbee leagues. We welcome full teams, small groups (5 or
more players but not a full team), friends (2-4 players) and individual
registrations. Small groups, friends and individual registrations are
combined with other similar registrants to form a team that remains together
for the duration of the season. Click here for more info.
