General Overview:
Are you passionate about making lives better? This is our core purpose at Nurse Next Door and fuels everything we do! We are looking for an energetic, creative, marketing or business focused professional with an aptitude for sales and relationship building to serve as our Full-Time Community Marketing Coordinator (CMC). As our CMC, you will be responsible for our front-line marketing and brand building initiatives within the community, with support and guidance from our Marketing Team.

Start Date: May 2017

Hours: 40 hrs per week, occasional evening and weekend work required.

Compensation: $42,000 per year plus bonuses, cell phone allowance, health spending account and car allowance or branded company vehicle.

Reports to: Director

Job Purpose: The Community Marketing Coordinator is responsible for raising the profile of Nurse Next Door through the management and coordination of focused business development campaigns, strategies and community events.  

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve quotas while positively and effectively promoting Nurse Next Door
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for marketing tactics and initiatives
  • Identify networking opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with front office staff at walk-in clinics, family practice clinics, and medical offices
  • Plan and attend community events to promote our services
  • Conduct pre-and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Deliver sales collateral and brochures to target demographic
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for social media campaigns
  • Marketing database management
  • Other administrative, direct marketing and business development activities as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License
  • Marketing/Business experience an asset
  • Post-secondary education (marketing, business or healthcare focus an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and competent in a technology driven environment
  • Previous sales experience an asset, but training provided
