Staff Testimonial and CSSC Culture

Overview:
The SSC culture (Calgary and Edmonton offices) is built on a foundation of high performance and results, along with teamwork and collaboration. We place a strong emphasis on hiring exceptional people and giving them the tools and guidance that they need to excel in their roles. New staff are given strong support and direction but are encouraged to gain freedom through commitment and results. Weekly goal setting meetings help each employee to have a plan for success. Our motto around here is ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ and we live in that culture every day. We also like to have fun: staff lunches and celebrations, staff outings, participation on staff sport teams, out of town trips to Banff, Sylvan Lake and Edmonton are all some examples of the team bonding that we do.

A note from our Current Customer Service and Admin Specialist (Larissa):

My 3.5 years with the CSSC have been invaluable. The Club and my manager (Gina) have invested in me significantly and I have experienced growth both personally and professionally. I love that there is never a dull moment at this job. The Club thrives on constant improvement and that always equates to new projects to become involved in. This position requires the ability to multi-task, and provides the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of the Club. I’ve really enjoyed regularly interacting with players and hearing about their experiences. One of the best aspects of this job is working with the incredible team. Everyone is here to work hard and work together. The atmosphere and culture is unlike any other, and I can’t wait to meet the newest member of our team!
