Staff Testimonial and CSSC Culture

Overview:
The SSC culture (Edmonton and Calgary offices), is a performance-oriented environment. We place a strong emphasis on hiring exceptional people and giving them all of the support that they need to excel in their roles. New staff are given strong guidance and nurturance, but are encouraged to gain freedom through commitment and results. Weekly goal setting meetings with their manager helps each staff member to create and execute a plan for success. Ongoing skill development sessions aid in increasing all employees effectiveness in their roles. We also like to have fun: frequent staff outings, our innovations program, out of town trips to Banff, Sylvan Lake, Edmonton, etc. are a few examples of our work hard, play hard mentality.

A note from our Current Customer Service and Admin Specialist (Larissa):

My 2.5 years with the CSSC have been invaluable. The Club, and my manager (Gina) have invested in me significantly and I have experienced growth both personally and professionally. I love that there is never a dull moment at this job. The Club thrives on constant improvement and that always equates to new projects to become involved in. This position requires the ability to multi-task, and provides the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of the Club. I’ve really enjoyed regularly interacting with players and hearing about their experiences. One of the best aspects of this job is working with the incredible team. Everyone is here to work hard and work together. The atmosphere and culture is unlike any other, and I can’t wait to meet the newest member of our team!”
