Staff Testimonial & CSSC Culture

Overview:

The SSC culture (Calgary and Edmonton offices) is built on a foundation of high performance and results, along with teamwork and collaboration. We place a strong emphasis on hiring exceptional people and giving them the tools and guidance that they need to excel in their roles. New staff are given strong support and direction but are encouraged to gain freedom through commitment and results. Weekly goal setting meetings help each employee to have a plan for success. Our motto around here is ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ and we live in that culture every day. We also like to have fun: staff lunches and celebrations, staff outings, participation on staff sport teams, out of town trips to Banff, Sylvan Lake and Edmonton are all some examples of the team bonding that we do.

A note from Calgary's facilities team (Justin and Mike):

Sports have always been a very large passion of ours – both professional and amateur. When there were opportunities to become members of the SSC family, we wasted no time and jumped at the chance.
The staff at the SSC are creative, like-minded individuals who share the same passion for sport that we do. We bond together in a strong team-setting to provide quality sport offerings for thousands of Calgarians annually. Since starting with the SSC, we have made numerous friendships with both employees and players of the Club. If a team atmosphere is something that you admire and you have a passion for sports, the SSC is the workplace for you.
Sports and Clichés go together like PB and J, but we mean it when we say that working at CSSC offers new challenges every day. No day is ever the same, we work hard and have a lot of fun along the way. Apply to work with us at the CSSC today, you will not regret it!
