Would you know an isosceles if it hit you in the hypotenuse?! We’re about to get all mathematical on you here, but don’t be obtuse and ignore it. Let’s talk about angles!

When you do something, you do it right - so let’s set you up with the straight goods for an expert throwing strategy that will be congruent with your current Dodgeball repertoire.

When throwing at your opponent, be acutely aware of your body position in relation to the targeted player. Employ the simple strategy of setting yourself up at a 45° angle versus coming at them straight on; when you throw at your opponent and you are directly in front of them, they will have an easier time squaring up with your ball to make the catch.

Already nailed this? Double-down and coordinate a throw with your teammate who throws from the complimentary angle. This cross-over throw will make it very difficult for your target to square up with either ball or move to their left or right because they will be watching for two balls on either side of their peripheral vision.

That’s it! Now go be acute thrower!
