Recreational

• Teams in this division have players that are learning the basic fundamentals of Slo-Pitch and most teams prioritize a "fun-first" mentality
• Players generally do not have specific positions
• Batters generally focus on just making contact with the ball, some will be able to place hits
• Home runs are less frequent, and strikeouts more commonplace
• Pitching is less consistent, there will be less strikes and more walks than other divisions
• Fielding and base-running errors will happen more frequently

Recreational Plus

• Teams in this division mostly consist of a mix of experienced and new Slo-Pitch players, and/or have had success at the Recreational level
• Teams likely have a few experienced batters who can place hits, and some inexperienced ones focused on just making contact with the ball
• Typically 1-2 batters can hit home runs, and strike-outs are less frequent than in the Recreational division
• Pitching strikes is more common, however walks will still occur
• Fielding and base-running will be more consistent than in the Recreational division
