This is a 'fun-first' bonspiel and Curling can at times come second to enjoying the party. This event is licensed so that teams can enjoy a few drinks in between games (in the true spirit of curling, of course) while watching crazy tosses and take-outs happening down on the sheets. Once we've had our fun throwing rocks and shouting "hurry hard!" at our friends, we'll be hosting an After-Party onsite where we'll reveal the days winners, award the folks in their best pajamas, play some games, and hand out some prizes!

Returning curler? We're shaking things up! Our event will be held at the Inglewood Curling Club for the first time, we're offering a Rec and Rec Plus division, and we're giving you a round robin and playoff structure.  

Event Details

Theme: This year’s theme is ‘Pajama Party’! After you sweep in your sheets at home, don't bother changing your attire, and come sweep on the curling sheets with us! Everyone knows that if you don't take advantage of wearing your pajamas in public, it's a blown opportunity. Plus, you can finally scratch "wear flannel bottoms on ice" off of your bucket list. Bonus points for those who bring their curlers. 

Divisions: *NEW*

  • Recreational (if a majority of your team has little to no curling experience)
  • Recreational Plus (if a majority of your team has curled in the past)

Cost: $225/team, $60/Individual

Location: *NEW* Inglewood Golf and Curling Club - 19 Gosling Way SE

Schedule & Times: The tournament schedule will be posted at the facility the day of the event. Official times will be sent to you no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, March 14, but all players should expect to start as early as 10:00am for announcements and a Curling Clinic. Expect to play as late as 7:00pm. The After-Party will get going right after the bonspiel and extend into the night!

Format/Roster: All teams are scheduled 4 (3-end) matches. *NEW* There will be a round robin and playoffs. Teams consist of 4 players only, with no co-ed restrictions. All participants must be 18+ years old.

After-Party: There will be an official After-Party on-site where teams can enjoy food and drinks. Along with champ awards, door prizes, and more!
