Game Format
Standard - Team
- All Multi-Sport Leagues are single-opponent; teams will play one match per week.
- All Sports will use a Games Coordinator (GC).
- All Multi-Sport Leagues are self-officiated.
2's
- All Multi-Sport 2's Leagues are double opponent; teams will play two matches per night against different opponents.
- All Multi-Sport 2's Leagues use an Event Coordinator (EC).
- All Multi-Sport 2's Leagues are self-officiated.
Season Length
Standard - Team
- All 9 Week Standard Multi-Sport Leagues use the following structure:
- 7 weeks of regular season games.
- 2 week of playoff games.
- All 8 Week (Summer) Standard Multi-Sport Leagues use the following structure:
- 6 weeks of regular season games.
- 2 week of playoff games.
- There may be instances where byes are scheduled due to facility availability, or rain-outs occur, meaning the season may be extended by 1-3 weeks.
2's
- All 5 Week Multi-Sport 2's Leagues use the following structure:
- 4 weeks of regular season games (8 total matches).
- 1 week of playoff games (2 total matches).
- All 8 Week (Summer) Multi-Sport 2's Leagues use the following structure:
- 7 weeks of seeding / regular season games (14 total matches).
- Seeding round is dependent on the number of teams registered.
- 1 week of playoff games (2 total matches).
- 7 weeks of seeding / regular season games (14 total matches).
- There may be instances where byes are scheduled due to facility availability, meaning the season may be played over 9-12 total weeks.
Playoffs
- Playoff Format:
- All teams are guaranteed 2 playoff games.
- Only the Top 4 teams will compete for the League Championship.
- League champs will receive t-shirts that can be picked up from the Season-end Party.
- Teams will vote through a veto process on which sports they want to play during playoffs:
- The CSSC will assign a sport out of the remaining, non-vetoed sports.
- There are no ties in playoffs.
- The tie-breaking rules for the respective sports can be found on the sport specific web pages.
- For Handball:
- Due to the possibility of an overtime period, halves are shortened to allow for a 5 minute overtime period.
- A tip-off at centre will start the overtime period.
- The first team to score wins the game.

- The following PDF outlines the number of players and females required for each sport offered in Multi-Sport.
- When registering a full team, there is no limit to the maximum number of players teams can have on their roster.
- Indoor: Prior to the first game of the season, teams must have 6 players confirmed on the roster in MyCSSC, 2 of which must be female..
- Outdoor: Prior to the first game of the season, teams must have 10 players confirmed on the roster in MyCSSC, 3 of which must be female.
- If the minimum amount of confirmed roster players is not met, the team will receive a loss for every game played until the requirement is met.
- Minimum female requirements are inclusive of anyone who identifies as female (i.e. players who identify as M or X do not count towards F minimums).
- Prior to the first playoff game, teams must have all players who are playing in the playoff game(s) displayed as part of the confirmed roster in MyCSSC.
- If this requirement is not met, teams will receive an automatic loss and will not be eligible for the championship.
