Full-Time Position
Reporting to the Managers of Operations at CSSC, this Sports Coordinator (SC) position will have a direct impact on our players and have a pivotal role in assisting with behind-the-scenes league management tasks for the Calgary Sport and Social Club. This role is key to supporting the achievement of our overall organizational goals and ensuring we offer the best Adult Recreational Sports leagues across Alberta. The SC will oversee league administration items, office administration and customer service in addition to managing special programs.
Start Date: May 2026
Hours: Full-time hours (40/week) Monday to Friday; shifts typically scheduled between the hours of 8:15am and 6:00pm. Some evening & overtime work will be required during season start-ups (January, April, July, and September).
League Administration:
Manage registrations, scores and standings through our database & website
Assist in creating, posting and communicating league schedules
Support sport nurturance and improvement initiatives
Oversee the management of special programs
This may include: Injury, Lost & Found, Masters Loyalty Rewards
Office Administration & Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service on the phone, in-person and via email
Update and maintain CSSC player database and profiles
Role model the CSSC values (pride, ownership and care) in and out of the office
Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by the Manager of League Operations
Degree or diploma from a recognized University or College
1-2 years experience in a Customer Service role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Respectful, Team player
High Organization
Driven and goal oriented
Ability to multi-task
Flexible with work schedule; able to work a variety of shifts as required
High level of computer competency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
$45,000 base salary
