CUPE Strike:

Like the City, the CSSC is approaching things day-by-day. Many leagues are unaffected. Any leagues that are impacted will be notified within 24hrs of their game with any schedule changes. If you are not contacted within that 24hr window and your schedule has not changed, games are still on.

Sno-Pitch

Can’t wait for Spring to hit the ball diamond? ‘Sno problem.

Bundle up because there's no better way to spend a Saturday than playing in a co-ed Sno-Pitch Tournament during the cool, but not too cool, months. Join us for a full-day and enjoy 7 fenced diamonds, beer gardens and a full restaurant onsite.

Approx. Times

  • 8:30am to 6:30pm

Official times will be sent to teams no later than 5:00pm on Thursday the week of the event

Format / Roster

  • Divisions: Recreational & Recreational Plus

  • Guaranteed at least 4 games

  • Games consist of 5 innings with a 60-minute time limit and batters begin each at-bat with a 1 and 1 count

  • Teams will be given no-sting balls to use throughout the day

  • Playoffs are single elimination

  • Teams are required to have 10 players (minimum of 3 females)

  • All participants must be 18+ years old

The Fun

  • The party goes all day at the onsite beer gardens, so stick around in between games and enjoy the music, games, and drinks!

  • Each championship team will receive a set of 3/4 length Sno-Pitch Tournament champ shirts.

Worried About the Weather? If the forecast is below -10 degrees Celsius, the event will be rescheduled. Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing. There will also be a large indoor space for teams to warm-up, eat, drink and be merry in-between games.

Cancellation Policy: Please contact the CSSC office no later than Friday the week before the event to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be given after this point.
