Well hello there! I’m Shelby!
Although Saskatchewan is where I was born and raised, I feel like Calgary is my home.
I’ve been involved with CSSC for a about a year, playing slow pitch and joining in outdoor fitness classes!
What I love most about being a player for CSSC is the community. Being submerged within it breeds the idea that you can do anything you set your mind to, and it encourages you to step outside of your comfort zone!
Off the field, you can find me adventuring through the Rocky Mountains, exploring Alberta’s craft beer scene, doing yoga or all three at once!
I can’t wait for the winter season to begin, as I am going to try something completely new and meet a ton of amazing people while doing so. During a time where there’s a lot of mixed emotions in the world, I’m glad I can count on the CSSC to brighten it up one day at a time.
