Indoor Volleyball Offerings

6's - Co-ed

This is the CSSC's long-running indoor format, where games are played using a co-ed 6's format, with a minimum of two females on the court.


Offerings: 

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday


Facilities:

All games will be played at citywide gymnasiums


Divisions:

Rcereational, Recreational Plus, Intermediate, Intermediate Plus

9-Week: 8 regular season, 1 playoff.
Leagues are double opponent; teams will play two matches/night against different opponents.

6's - Women's

This Women's only offering caters towards experienced Volleyball players. This 6's format plays only out of the MNP Centre (formally known as Repsol), and games are self-officiated.

Learn to Volley

Join CSSC's Learn to Volley Program and improve your skills! Participants will be taught the ins and outs of Volleyball from a Pro! The Pro will lead instruction in two different offerings, catering to different skill levels. 1.0 caters to beginners and 2.0 caters to those more advanced.  The program will consist of instruction, skill related drills, continuous drills, some fun games and match play.

1.0 or 2.0


Format:

6-Weeks starting April 20th - June 1st (No Classes May 18th)

An opportunity for 40+ year old players to come together and enjoy a league that's catered to them! Games are played using a co-ed 6's format, with a minimum of two females on the court.

Tournaments

The CSSC hosts four local Indoor Volleyball Tournaments each year, as well as one Battle of Alberta Tournament in Red Deer, AB. All teams are co-ed, 6 vs. 6, with a minimum of two females on the court.

All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games.
