GC of the Season Awards

Games Coordinators are essential to CSSC leagues and play a huge role in ensuring that all players enjoy themselves each and every night. The CSSC GC Team is continuously growing and although there are many excellent members out at the games, each season the Club recognizes a select few with the GC of the Season Award.

Each winner is nominated through player submissions, CSSC Staff recommendations, and/or based off the Field Staff Manager and GC Head Trainer evaluations. The goal is to award those that display a positive and friendly attitude, while at the same time getting involved with the games and providing players with the best experience possible.

Fall 2019

Games Coordinator Bio
Ethan Forrest - Basketball

Sports: Basketball
Rookie Season: Fall 2019

This is my first season as a GC but I have played basketball, multisport and slopitch with CSSC for a number of years now. GCing basketball has been an amazing part-time job as I get to meet a bunch of amazing people while watching my favorite sport. Looking forward to many more seasons to come

Danielle Bezeau - Dodgeball

Sports: Dodgeball,
Rookie Season: Fall 2016

I have played dodgeball with the CSSC for about 9 years, and began as a GC in the 2016 Fall season. It has been a great opportunity to meet other GC’s and players, and to further my knowledge of the game.

Outside of the CSSC, I work full time in Project Accounting and enjoy playing sports, travelling, snowboarding, and am obsessed with my dogs!

Dana Andrews - Floor Hockey

Sports: Ball Hockey
Rookie Season: Fall 2015

Ashley Jones - Multi-Sport

Sports: Multi-Sport, Dodgeball,
Rookie Season: Fall 2017

I have been with the CSSC since 2017 and have GC’d dodgeball soley up until this spring. I can safely say I love GCing multi-sport and the different faces I see almost every week as well as learning all the sports the season has to offer! I was a dancer growing up and never really participated in sports. But since joining the CSSC team I have found a new love for sports and have played on both a softball and dodgeball teams thus far!

I look forward to the new season ahead and am grateful for all the friends I have made since joining the CSSC team!

Brinthan Balakumar - Soccer

Sports: Soccer, Basketball
Rookie Season: Spring 2019

This has been my third season as a GC and I have loved every moment of it.  After tearing my ACL playing soccer, I wanted to still be involved in sports while I recover and have been lucky enough to be a part of CSSC. I enjoy interacting with players and watching them have fun playing the sport they love. I have been an avid sports fan all my life and am a die-hard Washington Redskins & Toronto Raptors fan. Thank you to my fellow colleagues (trainers, GCs, Justin) who assisted me in winning this award.
